Every year, AOPA Japan chooses one individual or organization who made remarkable contribution to the GA community and present them with an AOPA Award. For the year 2020, Yoshihide Muroya was honored with this award. Yoshihide, was also the winner of 2017 Red Bull Air Race Championship. His flying demonstrations have inspired many audiences. Besides flying at the Red Bull Air Race, Yoshihide has been actively involved in the promotion of GA in Japan.
